FAQs
what you need to know
Is there a tennis club phone number that I can call to get information?
All communications are through our email address at info@pctennis.club. Our tennis club is managed by resident volunteers, and we’ll do our best to get back to you as soon as possible!
Is there a tennis pro shop or tennis reception desk?
We do not have a tennis pro shop or a resident pro, and there is no formal reception desk or tennis office. All play is managed online on our website. There are sports buildings at both court sites (Eagle’s Nest and Tuscany Falls) with restrooms, tables and kitchenettes, but they are unattended by staff.
Is there a ball machine that I can use?
Yes, but it is available only to club members. And members using the ball machine for the first time must complete a training session with one of our staff. You can sign up for the ball machine on CourtReserve in addition to reserving a court. The ball machine is secured in a storage shed by court 12 with a code (only known to members and not to be shared with non-members) along with ball baskets and other club equipment.
Can I rent rackets and buy balls on site?
Since we are a volunteer- run club, we don’t store tennis gear for purchase or have rental equipment. Players must provide their own rackets and balls.
Can I use the courts if I’m not a member? How about my guests?
Yes, non-members can use the courts. Please reserve a court online using CourtReserve. Guests are welcome. However, young children should not be on the court without being accompanied by an adult. Please check out our “Rules and Safety” page for more guidelines on using the courts.
How do I get on a team or join a social group?
Click on our “Get Connected” page so that we can get you in contact with a member who will guide you to where you need. And see our “Play Tennis” page to learn more about all the ways that you can play tennis at PebbleCreek.
I don’t have a tennis rating. How do I know what level I should play in tournaments, socials and groups?
Check out our “Resources” page for recommendations on self-rating.
What if I’m not comfortable paying online for my membership or events?
Paying online is just one way that we offer to submit payment. You can always write a check to the club. Feel free to email us at info@pctennis.club to arrange payment your way.
When I sign up for an event on CourtReserve, it asks me for my partner’s name. Does entering my partner or spouse’s name in that spot automatically register my partner too?
No. Each person must individually register themselves. When your partner/spouse registers, they will also be asked for a partner’s name, and they can enter yours. Now it is clear who you both have designated as partners (e.g. for doubles or a dinner). Let’s say you want to play tennis and have dinner at an event, but your spouse only wants dinner. With each individual registration that difference is recorded.
I have lots of fun PebbleCreek tennis photos. How do I get them to you for the website?
Fantastic! Send your photos by email to us at info@pctennis.club. The board will try to post as many photos as we can on our Gallery page.
How do I submit suggestions or complaints to the board?
We would love to hear from you! Whether it’s a suggestion or a complaint, please include an idea for a solution. Think about how the suggestion might be made possible, or what the solution to a complaint might be. You can reach us at info@pctennis.club.
