The ROCKtoberfest tennis social had a new “twist” this year! Oktoberfest with ‘rocknroll’ thrown in – So Much Fun! The group played women’s, men’s and mixed doubles for 90 minutes. After the grueling and fun tennis we indulged in German beer, wine and other drinks. Dinner followed with German food including bratwurst, pretzels, potato salad, sauerkraut, and delicious desserts. The group enjoyed “rock and roll” music while waiting for the raffle winners to be announced.
A BIG thank you to Debbie and Randy Welsh for the great job organizing the decorations, the food, drinks and tables. Also a Thank You to Sheri Wallace for managing the tournament, raffle and players. And finally a big thank you to Bob and Karyn Swinford for managing the bar!
