The First Annual Pebble Creek Tennis Club Men Doubles Championships were completed Saturday on the Tuscany Falls show courts with plenty of drama and great tennis in front of a large crowd of tennis enthusiasts.

A-flight
In the A-flight, the team of Jonathan Colter and Dan Schimmelphennig won the deciding 10-point tiebreaker to defeat the team of David Kersey and Randy Plank to claim the championship. The high-quality match showcased some of the best tennis PebbleCreek has to offer with numerous long rallies and tremendous shot making.

B-flight
In the B-flight, the winning duo was Greg Fisher and Keith Cunningham who upended Steve Farley and Jay Hayden. After a tight first set, Greg and Keith caught fire and cruised to victory. The B-flight championship showed the depth of tennis talent at various levels we have here at Pebble Creek.

75+ Flight
The tournament also featured a 75+ flight to showcase the more experienced tennis players in our community. These amazing athletes helped to remind us that age is just a number as they displayed tennis abilities that younger members of the club can only envy. In the championship match, Dick Hawkins and Brue McLarty used their skill and cunning to defeat Dennis Daniel and Roger White and claim first place.
